Winter Mindful Activities for Children
Parents!
Winter...
While winter does not always mean cold weather (depending on where you live), the beginning of the year can often bring a lower energy time for families. (Even if the calendar is no less full!)
In our household, we have found it challenging to engage the kids (who are 17 mos and 3 yo) in non-screened based entertainment while they are indoors during these colder months. Below you'll find some links to some indoor activities that might help shift the focus on your indoor time...and, of course, help your kids have a few more mindful moments.
We will be trying a few of these out in the weekends to come. (Because the kids certainly do NOT need to watch 2018's The Grinch another time... and don't get me started on Blippi!) If others do too, or have in the past, we'd love to hear how they go/have gone!
Wishing you all a very Mindful Day! (Or...mindful moments that you parents might be able to snag between kiddo tantrums and arguments!)
