About

I am Lindsay Sauers, Psy.D. – a licensed clinical psychologist; the co-founder, CEO, and primary practice teacher/leader of Endless Mountains Mindfulness Retreats; and a badass mom who often has her morning coffee in a large Wonder Woman mug (seriously, I do).

A little about my journey - my interest in learning, practicing, and teaching mindfulness began early in my doctoral training as I sought ways to maintain and foster wellness during  quite demanding graduate studies at LaSalle University (Philadelphia, PA). Beginning by taking a series of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses and starting to nurture my own mindfulness practice, I became a co-teacher in training for MBSR courses held at Mindful Exposure Therapy for Anxiety (M.E.T.A.; Abington, PA) with licensed psychologist, Christine Molnar, Ph.D.  From that point forward, I took every opportunity possible to lead and co-lead groups teaching mindfulness during my pre- and post-doctoral training, while also exploring the relationship between mindfulness and emotion regulation in my scholarly activities.

After completing my doctorate and becoming licensed to practice psychology in PA, I delved headfirst into outpatient clinical work; however, I have remained connected to mindfulness through my personal practice; incorporating mindfulness in the individual work I do with patients at UPMC Outpatient Behavioral Health (Williamsport, PA); and seeking out continuing education opportunities to expand and deepen all of the ways mindfulness is a part of my personal and professional lives.

Quite simply - I am passionate about bringing mindfulness and its practice to as many people as possible.  I have experienced and observed the immeasurable benefits a mindfulness practice can have for a wide range of individuals - from those simply wanting to learn how to live more intentionally in a fast-paced world to those struggling with a range of debilitating issues (e.g., stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, attention difficulties, trauma, etc.).  In teaching, you can expect that I will balance sincerity with humor, compassion with accountability, and action with acceptance.

I can’t express how excited I am to help you grow and/or nurture your mindfulness meditation practice surrounded by the beautiful mountains ranges of Pennsylvania.  Looking forward to meeting you soon at an upcoming retreat!  Please be in touch at info@endlessmountainsretreats.com if you have any questions.
