A Mindful Approach to the Holiday Season
Well...if there was any doubt that the holiday season has arrived, it is gone! (Some might say it actually started right after Halloween - I have been hearing holiday music and messages about sales for WEEKS! 🤔 😘)
I'll be honest - I used to DREAD the holiday season. There can be SO MUCH that demands our attention and energy, which I ALLOWED to be more exhausting than joyous. This year - I CHOOSE joy and intention. And...I know that I will need to continually choose joy and intention in a number of moments - it's not a "one and done". While the invites and events will still come - I choose to PAUSE to check in with my energy and guiding values for this time. This will be a most IMPERFECT practice for sure...and...I've already noticed a significant difference in how much space I have to notice moments of joy.
